OJP Demo App is a web-based application that demonstrates and implements the capabilities of the Open Journey Planner(OJP) APIs to support distributed journey planning according to the European (CEN) Technical Specification entitled “Intelligent transport systems – Public transport – Open API for distributed journey planning”. The OJP APIs are provided by Bundesamt für Verkehr (BAV) and available under https://opentransportdata.swiss/ portal together with other public transport and mobility datasets. The OJP Demo application gives all interested parties a head start in implementing their services and business models. The source code can be easily adapted and extended in order to implement rich and complex applications.
Why should this Project win a DINAcon Award?
With Open Journey Planner the BAV has made available an open service for trip planning. The demonstrator application gives all interested parties a head start in implementing their services and business models. They can copy the app and directly start to implement advanced functionality.
